Cruaghaire Litters

We don't have litters very often but when we do this is where you will find out them.

When we breed, it is to try and produce what 'WE' think is a great representation of the breed in terms of construction, movement, temperament, intelligence and looks using the kennel club breed standard as a guide.

All our parents are health tested for Hip Dysplacia ( Hip scored) with results below 19 which is the breed average. From 2010 any dogs we have tested will also be tested for Elbow Dysplacia (Elbow Scored) with results below 1.

All our males will also be screened for Haemophilia A and will not be used unless clear of this disease.

All our puppies are micro chipped, wormed, de-flea'd & KC registered but they are endorsed as follows; not eligible for export, progeny not eligible for KC registration. This means that our pups cannot be bred from unless they have all the relevant health tests done and the results are below the breed average. In which case we will lift the endorsements however please discuss this with us prior to purchasing a pup.

You will also get a 5 generation pedigree a puppy information pack and a food pack to get you started with your new family member.

We will ALWAYS be at the end of a phone or email, 24/7 for help and advice.

All our pups are vet checked before they leave for their new homes but we do advise that you have then examined by your own vet. We are not infallible and things can sometimes be missed.

Our puppies are all socialised with other dogs and children as much as we can. There is no such thing as too much socialisation. We raise our puppies in our home surrounded by the normal hustle and bustle of a family house so when they leave us they will be well used to the chaos that this brings.

We don't have litters very often but we do have a waiting list so its good to get your details in early.

Not everyone meets our criteria as a potential GSD family and so you will be asked lots of questions - hours you work, where you live, your experience with dogs especially GSD's so if you are not prepared to be grilled do not get in touch.

We put a lot of time and effort into raising the best puppies we possibly can and we are very careful about where they go.

While we endeavour to meet the needs of each client in terms of coat colour and length nothing can be guaranteed. Mother nature always has a surprise or two up her sleeves.
